Our Piper Warrior N9936W is billed at a flat dry rate. This covers aircraft rental and maintenance, giving you access to a modern Garmin-equipped trainer.

This flat rate covers all dual flight instruction and ground school briefings and is one of the most competitive rates in the area.

*Dry rates exclude fuel costs, allowing you to pay only for the exact amount of fuel consumed during your flight lessons. This keeps your training costs completely transparent.

Common Questions

Clear answers on costs

What is a dry rate?

Are there any hidden fees?

A dry rate covers the physical rental of the aircraft and maintenance, but excludes fuel. You will pay for the fuel you actually burn during your lesson, keeping your expenses fair and direct.

No. We do not charge insurance surcharges, club membership fees, or pre-flight briefing penalties. You only pay the flat aircraft dry rate and the instructor rate.

How fuel is billed

How are flight hours tracked?

You can purchase fuel directly at the KCSG terminal or reimburse fuel costs if refueling at another airport during cross-country training. We keep the process simple.

We track flight time using the aircraft's Hobbs meter, which measures the exact duration the engine is running. You only pay for the precise time spent operating the aircraft.
